Floor, surroundings and operating conditions

  • Inspect the floor around the warehouse racking for cracks, settlement, potholes, damaged joints or other defects that could affect stability or vehicle movement.
  • Check that aisles are wide enough for the equipment in use and are free from stored items, waste and obstructions.
  • Inspect lighting, visibility, signage and traffic controls where poor conditions could contribute to impact or unsafe loading.
